REVIEW SUMMARY
"Sicario 2, while not as great as the 1st instalment, makes for a brutal & cerebral viewing experience. The film lost a bit of the authenticity and subtlety showcased in the first film, but still does a good job of delivering the same chilling and relentless mood throughout. Performances are also wonderful here as Brolin and del Toro are clearly masters of their craft. The conclusion leaves the door wide open for a 3rd go around and frankly, I'm all in! Who knew this was franchise material?"
