Calling fans of books that keep you turning the page until 3 AM...From June 27–29, the MOTIVE Crime & Mystery Festival returns - this year in the gothic revival halls at Victoria University (U of T). Hear from bestselling crime and mystery authors, cult-favourite crime podcasters, and meet other thriller fans for a weekend of whodunits and edge-of-your-seat programming.

This year’s lineup includes Eliza Reid (former First Lady of Iceland and author of all new murder mystery Death on the Island), Canadian thriller icon Shari Lapena, bestselling author Linwood Barclay, and taking on the new cozy crime genre, romance icon Uzma Jalaluddin. The event also features live podcast tapings, book signings, and mystery-themed panels.

Think Comic-Con, but for true crime and thriller lovers - all set on the historic University of Toronto campus.
