"Boiled down, Book Club is basically Sex and The City meets The Golden Girls. Beware though, this is a movie that only aims to please its target audience. Meaning, if you are not a woman of a certain age, this is NOT for you. Unsurprisingly, given the stellar cast, all the lead actresses do a fantastic job and elevate this film to be much better than it should be. If only they had better material to work with."
