REVIEW SUMMARY
"Prepare yourself, this movie will give you borderline psychological trauma. No hyperbole – this IS the scariest movie you will see all year (perhaps this decade). No cheap jump scares or overly manufactured gimmicks, the unsettling story will get underneath your skin and stay there long after it's done. Performances are also top notch, especially Toni Collette and Alex Wolff who really deserve praise. But perhaps the biggest star of the film, in his debut effort no less, is director Ari Aster. In one film, he has perhaps become the new modern master of horror."
