REVIEW SUMMARY
Strap in, the 3rd chapter in the highly entertaining John Wick franchise is nothing short of a blitzkrieg of action personified. In fact, this movie pretty much has everything you'd want in a contemporary actioner: neon-soaked aesthetics, motorcycle chases, knife fights, deadly horse rides in Times Square, use of a library book as a lethal weapon, ninjas, groin attacking dogs... And with this instalment upping the ante in every which way, the film's trademark choreography ("Gun-Fu" anyone?) also gets the over the top treatment - with glorious results! Bar none, this is the best fight choreography you’ll find on any movie screen, anywhere! Admittedly though, it does get to be a littllllle overkill in the final act, even for John Wick standards. But trust me, your overall enjoyment level will ultimately be higher than the on-screen body count - and in this movie, that’s saying something!
