REVIEW SUMMARY
Here's the thing, Little delivers some really big lessons, but it does so with very little laughs. The inherent gags in a story of this nature, while comical the first time around, get recycled again and again in this film until there is no humour left to be found in them at all. Truth be told, the novelty of the whole thing wore off around the 45 minute mark. I will admit that the actors do go all in with their performances and elevate the comedy quite a bit because of it. But making matters worse, the way too predictable outcome is not nearly as satisfying as you hope it will be (perhaps because it takes so damn long to get to the inevitable). Frankly, the entire film reminded me A LOT of this year’s other "body switch comedy" movie - What Men Want. Wait, what’s that? This is Directed by that movie’s co-writer? Explains so, so much!
