SYNOPSIS
Based on Doug Stanton's non-fiction book Horse Soldiers
Following the September 11 attacks, Task Force Dagger, including CIA paramilitary officers and US Army Green Berets Operational Detachment Alpha 595 are sent to Afghanistan. They join forces with General Abdul Rashid Dostum of the Northern Alliance to help conduct unconventional warfare against Taliban forces.

"12 Strong is a good addition to the War Drama genre of films. Hemsworth proves that he is more than Thor, delivering a great performance full of charisma and depth. With the exception of a few, there is very little character development, thus making it hard to truly connect with the members of the team. The battle scenes are spectacular however, delivering a very visceral and gritty viewing experience."
