SYNOPSIS
Based on a theme park in New Jersey called Action Park, which was notorious for poorly designed & unsafe
D.C. is the crackpot owner of Action Point: a low-rent, out-of-control amusement park where the rides are designed with minimum safety for maximum fun. Just as his estranged daughter Boogie comes to visit, a corporate mega-park opens nearby and jeopardizes the future of Action Point.
REVIEW SUMMARY
"Action Point could have been something of a Summertime guilty pleasure along the lines of Meatballs or Wet Hot American Summer. Instead, it is just plain guilty of being lazy, lame and rather unfunny. And while the trademark juvenile stunts are certainly the film's highlights, you'll still be left wishing they had just made another one of those Jackass films instead."
