SYNOPSIS

Loosely based on the video game series of the same name

Primatologist Davis Okoye, head of an anti-poaching unit, finds out his beloved albino silverback gorilla friend George has been infected with a mysterious experiment that turns him into a giant, aggressive beast. With the help of a discredited genetic engineer, he must save George and others from destroying most of America.

REVIEW SUMMARY

"Unfortunately for Rampage, size doesn’t always matter at the cinema. This movie is dumbed down to the max with plot holes galore. As for performances, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson has charisma to spare and appears to truly be having fun in his role (at least somebody's having a good time). Jeffrey Dean Morgan however, is basically doing a PG13 version of his Walking Dead Negan role. And while the CGI and "smash 'em up" scenes are decent enough, perhaps what is most refreshing is that this movie doesn't take itself too seriously. But then again, how could you?"
