"Slender Man delivers anaemic scares in a slender plot. The cheap jump scare tricks are on really high here and whats worse, they only occasionally work. There are a few frightening moments (mostly in the way of creepy imagery) and the moodiness of it all kinda works. But any way you look at it, this is a majorly disappointing result  given the real life horror surrounding the character. As a scary movie connoisseur, I can tell you this is nothing but re-heated, stale, fast food horror at best."
