REVIEW SUMMARY

Spider-Man Far From Home makes for the perfect follow-up to the immensely epic Avengers: End Game. Seriously, the duration of this film will have your “spider-sense” tingling with excitement, as this is nothing short of a total blast from start to finish. One might say that star Tom Holland has now officially cemented himself as THE best (live action) iteration of Peter Parker / Spider-Man. And much like his connection with Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man in past film's, Holland’s chemistry is pretty much on point with, well, everyone here! The plot is also fun, focusing on interesting themes like perception VS reality, while also laying groundwork for this new phase of Marvel films (whatever you do, STAY for the mid and end credit scenes). The movie does falter a bit with, what I can only assume, is an effort to sell more toys. You see, this Spider-Man now has many high tech suit and accessory options at his disposal. And while I guess it does fit with the story to some degree, this character is, and always will be, at his best when stripped down (well, not literally). Luckily, we still get lots of personal moments here, keeping Spider-Man the relatable web-headed hero we love! You know what they say: with great power comes great responsibility…to make great movies. This time they nailed it!
