REVIEW SUMMARY

Christopher Nolan has done it again folks - Tenet is another must-see mind-bending Nolan spectacle. Just do yourself a favour and see it on the biggest screen you can find, because much like the celebrated director’s other films, this has the size, sound and scope that’s (literally) made for cinema screens. And once you’re strapped in, get ready for a wild ride of non-stop action and thrills. The twisty plot plays out as part James Bond, part Terminator, part Batman, and heck, even part Back to the Future. And yes, while the “time-bending” concepts may leave you confounded more times than not (especially towards the end), it’s incredibly compelling, always forcing you to pay attention and connect the dots as they happen. Trust me, there are going to be a lot of “aha” moments as things progress (maybe even the next day). Needless to say, this is not a movie that spoon feeds its audience with drawn out information dumps. Sure, Nolan hands over the key building blocks, but it's up to us to put the complete puzzle together on our own. In other words, it’s the fun kind of confusing. But even if you don’t know what the heck is going on at all, well, at least you’ll be dazzled by the spectacular visuals being thrown at you (there’s a lot to look at here). And for a movie pushing 2 and ½ hours, it goes by in a breeze. All the more reason to see it again, and again, and again…
