SYNOPSIS

Audrey and her best friend Morgan find themselves embroiled in a major international conspiracy when Audrey's ex-boyfriend unexpectedly re-enters her life with a team of assassins on his trail and reveals that he is actually a CIA agent.

REVIEW SUMMARY

"I spy a box-office dud. There are simply way too many parody spy films that have come before The Spy Who Dumped Me, and frankly, they all did it better. With the the action R-rated and the comedy hit or miss (who am I kidding, it's almost always a miss), the whole thing feels like Atomic Blonde mixed in with sub-par SNL sketches. Perhaps the big issue here is Kate McKinnon. While she jumps off the screen in scene stealing moments, she never meshes well with the other characters and/or the story at hand. This is sadly not the movie for her... or perhaps anyone for that matter."
