"Shockingly, the 9th film in the franchise delivers brand new exciting and bold Star Wars moments. The Last Jedi gets major points for not playing it safe and taking risks with the story. Mark Hamill gives a poetic performance as Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher shines in her last film role. However, one sub-plot does feel out of place and most, if not all, the new characters are forgettable. And while the humour is hit or miss throughout, the third act makes everything worthwhile in spectacular fashion."
