SYNOPSIS

Based on John Pearson's 1995 book Painfully Rich: The Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J. Paul Getty

Tells the story of J. Paul Getty's refusal to cooperate with the extortion demands of a group of kidnappers who abducted his grandson John Paul Getty III in the 1970s.

REVIEW SUMMARY

"An exceedingly compelling story told incredibly well – Kevin Spacey is not missed in Ridley Scott's All The Money In The World. At 88 years of age, Christopher Plummer puts on an acting clinic (which is even more impressive given the limited time he had to prepare for the role). Michelle Williams is equally great here BUT Mark Wahlberg feels a little mis-cast in his role. The film can start to feel long (and a bit tedious) but this is one story you'll want to see to the very end!"
