SYNOPSIS

REVIEW SUMMARY
A bonkers multi-genre mash up with blood spurts to spare, Anna and The Apocalypse is never not entertaining! More than just an original concept (well, it does borrow a lot from Shaun Of The Dead - not a bad thing though), there is a lot that works here. For one, the musical numbers are excellent and legitimately catchy. In addition, our titular heroine is very charismatic delivering a wonderful performance, as do her effortlessly likeable onscreen friends. Sure it runs out of steam (and a few ideas) by the end, but if you embrace this weird cinematic world we're presented, your enjoyment level will run more than high.
