SYNOPSIS
Is the sequel to 2012's The Avengers, 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron and 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. It also marks the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner -- must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe with a snap of his fingers.
REVIEW SUMMARY
More than just a movie, Avengers: Endgame is a cultural moment that is simply epic in every which way! The Russo brothers have outdone themselves once more by crafting the ultimate love letter to all 20 plus Marvel films that have come before it. And for those that have been following along over the past decade or so, well, this is a truly satisfying “finale" that will surely give you all the tears and goose-bumps you can handle. Marvel's signature humour, sense of adventure, emotion and grandeur are not only all present here, but frankly, have never been executed better. As for that 3 hour plus runtime you've no doubt heard all about, it's far from a hindrance on things. In fact, if you're like me, you’d actually be ok if it was (gasp) even longer. So with Endgame’s scope, significance, and overall impact being literally off the charts, does this now become the biggest superhero movie of all time? Try biggest movie... period. So in the words of a wise man full of fantastical stories and wonderment: 'nuff said!
