REVIEW SUMMARY
Wawaweewa - Borat is back, and the good news is that he's just as hilariously ballsy as he was 14 years ago! Seriously, Sacha Baron Cohen's most famous character (sorry Bruno) makes for a perfect pair with the current Trump-infused political climate, not to mention the global pandemic at hand. But, Cohen's boorish broadcaster isn't the only star this time around, as Borat's daughter, played to perfection by Maria Bakalova, is an absolute scene stealer. And for those unfamiliar, just know that the shocking, crude, juvenile, obnoxious (but mostly genius) comedy is cloaked in some heavy political/social commentary. And trust me, there's A LOT to be said here. And much like the first film, things can get pretty cringey at times, especially in the much publicized Rudy Giuliani incident. But, above it all, Borat's cinematic return is always entertaining, making you wish that Kazakhstan's fourth-best journalist didn't take so darn long to return to our screens!
