REVIEW SUMMARY
James Madigan’s Fight of Flight delivers gonzo action fun at 37,000 feet that’s fueled by a wildly committed Josh Hartnett! Yep, this one’s a wild ride - in the best way possible. You see, the film knows exactly what it is and what its audience wants. Forget slow-burn espionage and cerebral twists - this is all about all-out, balls-to-the-wall airplane mayhem. And, well, Fight or Flight is the motherload. In fact, by the final act, the action becomes so relentless, so bloody, brutal, bone-crunching, and head-smashing - that it borders on the absurd, but in a way that only adds to the fun. You’ll find yourself wondering how much more madness they can throw at the screen. The answer? A lot. Thankfully, the film never takes itself too seriously, and neither should you. At a tight hour and forty minutes, it flies by without overstaying its welcome. Sure, it can get a bit much, and you might feel numb to the chaos by the end—but that’s part of the ride. The plot is as implausible as it is inconsequential, but Hartnett’s full-throttle performance keeps it all grounded. He’s clearly having a blast here, and that energy is very infectious. So, if it’s unhinged action and airborne anarchy you’re after, Fight or Flight is well worth boarding. Just buckle up for one hell of a crazy ride.
