REVIEW SUMMARY
Why? That is the question I kept asking myself while watching this movie. Why is the plot so needlessly and unbelievably “high concept”? Why are these characters so utterly unlikeable? Why is this painfully unfunny? Why is the ending such a let down on almost every level? And why is it titled Love Jacked anyways? Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the answers. I can say though, at the very least, the film’s “heart” is in the right place. There is also a hint of charm to be found in our lead actor's performance - but other than that, this is a terrible mess. Love Jacked is a poor rom-com with little rom and zero com.
