REVIEW SUMMARY

"The Equalizer 2 can be summed up in 2 words: unfocused and uneven. There are so many side stories and inconsequential moments in the first half of this film that by the time the main story catches steam, it's almost an hour in! The final act is pretty great however and the brutality of it all is effective. Plus, Denzel once again proves he is incapable of putting on a bad performance as everything he does on screen is as smooth as butter."
