REVIEW SUMMARY

In Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, our favourite Legos go post apocalyptic in a hyper fun sequel! Meaning, it's nothing but good news for those that thought they had seen all there was to see in a Lego movie universe. The writers once more deliver big on the imagination front, even without the surprise factor of the first instalment. The film is once again a vibrant and frenetic viewing experience, making it near impossible not to be sucked into the fun of it all. It's also evident that the voice cast is having a blast, especially Tiffany Haddish who, as Queen Watevera Wa-Nani, dishes out a near laugh riot. However, I can't help but feel the music is a little forced this time around, although catchy none the less. I mean, there is a musical number called "This Song Will Get Stuck in Your Head" - spoiler alert: it will.
