REVIEW SUMMARY
Inspiring, cringey, touching, and bizarre, You Cannot Kill David Arquette is the 90’s actor turned pro wrestler redemption story you didn’t know you needed in your life. Sure, things can get fairly scattered at times, but so can the movie’s subject. And yes, it also suffers from more than a few “contrivances,” but the results are always entertaining as all hell. And entertained you will be. Whether it’s seeing Arquette wrestle Luchadores on the actual streets of Mexico or watching him partake in a low rent backyard brawl, this doc has “wow moments” in spades. Things take an unexpected serious turn by the end however, with a genuinely terrifying instance that puts the film’s title to the test (it’s also not for the faint of heart). So, with plenty of memorable instances, fun cameos (hey look it’s David’s ex-wife Courtney Cox), and interesting insights, this is one documentary that will literally give you a big bang for your buck!
